The basis on which we quote, sell and ship vehicles.
What these terms cover
These terms apply to vehicles we sell and export from the Republic of Korea. A specific shipment may carry additional written terms on its proforma invoice, and those take precedence where they differ.
Prices and quotes
Listed prices are FOB Korea in US dollars unless stated otherwise, and exclude freight, insurance, customs duty, VAT and local clearance. A quote is valid for the period stated on it; stock turns over weekly and availability is never guaranteed until a deposit is received.
Payment
A deposit reserves a specific vehicle by chassis number. The balance is due before loading. We do not load against an unpaid balance, and deposits on vehicles the buyer withdraws from are non-refundable except where we cannot supply the vehicle.
Shipping and risk
Risk passes on FOB terms when the vehicle is loaded. Sailing schedules are set by the carrier and are outside our control; estimated arrival dates are indicative and are not a contractual commitment.
Import rules and liability
Import eligibility information on this site is screening guidance, not a customs ruling. Regulations change without notice and the final decision rests with the authorities in the destination country. Buyers are responsible for confirming the current rules with their own broker before purchase, and we are not liable for duties, fines or refusals arising at the destination.
